2015 Toyota FCV |
The Toyota FCV 2015 presented its first fuel cell vehicle for the masses. The sedan is based on the Tokyo Motor Show 2013 presented concept car. The design was thereby adopted almost unchanged, and the FCV looks very futuristic in the production version. The sedan remains safe rather meet the tastes of Asians, as the Europeans.
Toyota combines the benefits of an electric car with the range of a fossil-fueled vehicle with the fuel cell vehicle. As the only emission is water vapor, and unlike pure electric vehicles, the vehicle can refuel in just three minutes.
Unless one finds an appropriate gas station, the fuel gas stations are sown namely still very scarce. As part of the "HyFive" project, a collaboration between Toyota, BMW, Daimler, Honda and Hyundai in cooperation with Linde, OMV, Air Products, Element Energy and PE International, should this be but to change, and there are nationwide stations are added.
However, the first vehicles will probably put on the market even before the infrastructure is in place. The Toyota FCV starts namely in the spring of 2015 in Japan and will be available in North America and Europe in summer 2015.
About accurate performance data and equipment specifications Toyota has betrayed anything yet.
